Refund & Return Policy
We want every MD® customer to be completely satisfied. If a product isn't right for you, here is exactly how returns work.
Return Window
- Returns must be initiated within 30 days from the ship date printed on your shipping confirmation email.
- Only unopened, unused products in their original sealed packaging are eligible for a refund. We cannot accept opened bottles, used products, or items missing original packaging — they will be discarded upon return without refund.
- Gift cards, sale items, and final-sale items are non-refundable.
What's Refunded
- Refunds are issued for the purchase price of the eligible product(s), minus the original shipping and handling charges.
- Refunds are credited to the original payment method used at purchase.
- Refunds typically appear in 5–10 business days after we receive and inspect the return.
How to Return an Item
- Call MD® Customer Care at 650-340-8688 (Monday–Friday, 10:00 AM–5:00 PM Pacific Time) or email customercare@md-factor.com within the 30-day window to request a Return Authorization (RA) number.
- In your message, please include: your name, order number, the last 4 digits of the credit card used, a copy of your order confirmation, and the reason for return.
- Ship the item back, with the RA number written on the outside of the package, to:

- We strongly recommend a shipping method with tracking and insurance. MD® is not responsible for returns lost or damaged in transit. Return shipping is paid by the customer unless the return is due to MD® error.
- Please allow 2–3 weeks from the shipping date for the return to arrive, be inspected, and processed.
- International returns: Customs inspection or clearance may delay arrival of the return shipment at our San Mateo, California facility. MD® is not responsible for customs-caused delays affecting return shipments in either direction (outbound or inbound). International customers should allow additional time for customs processing on top of the standard 2–3 week return window.
Returns Due to MD® Error or Manufacturer Defect
If MD® shipped the wrong item, or if the product arrives with a manufacturer defect (e.g., a visibly compromised seal that was not caused by transit, missing components per the product page, or a formulation issue), MD® will pay for return shipping and either replace the item at no cost or issue a full refund (including original shipping). Photograph the issue and email images to customercare@md-factor.com within 48 hours of delivery.
For damage caused during shipping or final-mile delivery (in-transit damage), please refer to the MD® Shipping Policy. Risk of loss passes to the customer when the package is tendered to the carrier; we strongly recommend purchasing Route™ shipping insurance at checkout to cover in-transit damage, loss, theft, or delay.
Refused or Undeliverable Shipments
If a customer refuses to accept delivery of a package — for any reason, including but not limited to declining to pay import VAT, customs duties, brokerage fees, address-correction surcharges, or other delivery-related charges — and the carrier returns the package to MD®, the customer is entitled to a refund of the product cost only. The following amounts are not refundable and will be deducted from the refund:
- Original outbound shipping charges paid at checkout (including any free-shipping value that was applied).
- Return-to-sender freight charged by the carrier.
- Customs-handling fees, brokerage fees, or duties already paid on the customer's behalf (if any).
- Carrier address-correction or redelivery surcharges.
If the carrier abandons, destroys, or auctions the package because the customer refused delivery and the carrier was unable or unwilling to return it to MD® (common practice in some international jurisdictions), no refund will be issued, as MD® has no way to verify the product's condition or recover the inventory. Customers concerned about import charges should confirm their country's VAT/customs threshold before placing an international order.
Where We Do Not Accept Returns
- Products not purchased directly from www.md-factor.com. Items bought through unauthorized resellers, third-party marketplaces, or other retailers must be returned to the seller under that seller's policy.
- Opened or partially used products.
- Returns received more than 30 days after the original ship date.
Authorized Resellers
Authentic MD® products are sold exclusively at www.md-factor.com and the brand's own Amazon storefront. Please contact us to report any suspected unauthorized resellers.
