2. Brands and Trademarks
The trademarks MD®, MD Factor®, MD Lash Factor®, MD Hair™, MD Skin™, and MD Wellness™ (collectively, the “MD Marks”) are owned by, and are the exclusive property of, La Canada Ventures, Inc. The MD Marks may be registered with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) and/or with trademark offices in other jurisdictions, and are protected under U.S. and international trademark law regardless of registration status:
- MD® — owned by La Canada Ventures, Inc.
- MD Factor® — owned by La Canada Ventures, Inc.
- MD Lash Factor® — owned by La Canada Ventures, Inc.
- MD Hair™ — owned by La Canada Ventures, Inc.
- MD Skin™ — owned by La Canada Ventures, Inc.
- MD Wellness™ — owned by La Canada Ventures, Inc.
All rights in the MD Marks are expressly reserved. Unauthorized use, reproduction, imitation, dilution, or registration of any MD Mark — including in product names, domain names, social media handles, advertising, listings on third-party marketplaces, packaging, search-engine keyword bidding, or any other commercial use — is strictly prohibited and may be enforced under U.S. and international trademark law, including but not limited to the Lanham Act (15 U.S.C. § 1051 et seq.), state unfair-competition statutes, and applicable foreign equivalents. La Canada Ventures, Inc. reserves all rights to pursue injunctive relief, damages, statutory damages, attorneys’ fees, and any other available remedies for trademark infringement, dilution, false designation of origin, or unfair competition. All other trademarks, service marks, and trade names referenced on this Site are the property of their respective owners.

MD® products are protected by issued U.S. patents and patents pending, including:

6. Physician Founder Disclosure
Dr. Susan Lin, M.D. is a licensed physician and the founder of La Canada Ventures, Inc. and the MD® family of brands. Dr. Lin’s involvement in MD® products is disclosed in accordance with applicable physician advertising rules and the U.S. Federal Trade Commission’s endorsement guidelines.
7. Authorized Resellers & Brand Protection
Authentic MD® products are sold exclusively through www.md-factor.com and the brand’s own Amazon storefront. La Canada Ventures, Inc. actively monitors for counterfeit, diverted, or unauthorized resale of MD® products and reserves all rights to enforce its trademarks and patents under applicable law. To report a suspected counterfeit listing, unauthorized seller, or trademark infringement, please email customercare@md-factor.com with the subject line “Brand Protection” and supply the listing URL, screenshots, and any purchase records.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties & Limitation of Liability
Except as expressly stated in the MD® Refund Policy or product-specific guarantee, all MD® products and Site content are provided “as is” without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. To the maximum extent permitted by law, La Canada Ventures, Inc.’s total liability for any claim arising from the Site or any MD® product shall not exceed the amount paid for the product giving rise to the claim. 9. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
This Site, all sales conducted through it, and these Legal Notice provisions are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any legal action or proceeding arising from use of the Site or purchase of MD® products shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in San Mateo County, California, and the parties consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
